It's interesting seeing how different parts of the internet think about it. r*ddit just outright hates Chi. The mangaplus comments are more sympathetic but still overwhelmingly want him dead. And then /a/ is a bit of a mixed bag but is the only place where there are at least a few people who don't think Ryota should kill him.

The japanese comments are always making fun of the chapter. For example, some pointed out that Shirono is still naked and that Ryota won't kill Chika the next chapter.
I feel that the mangaka wants people to take it seriously but the harder she tries to make a serious chapter the more ridiculous it gets. I dunno, it's hard to tell if it's comedy-horror or not.

The mangaka likes edge, but saying that people should stop loving difficult family members isn't the kind of edgy message she seems to have been building up to. As muddled as the story is, it's clear she has things to say about these kinds of family dynamics.
Ryota will probably find love or at least pity in his heart for Chika. The most optimistic scenario is that he figures out how to keep his brother in check and they have a normal relationship. The more depressing and realistic option is that he chooses to die with him so he isn't lonely.
Trying to figure out what the mangaka's aiming for (beyond J+/Mangaplus views) is very confusing.

I don't think this was what she intended. It's just a tragedy. It's two brothers who love(d) one another but their relationship could never work because of circumstances beyond either of their control.
