I've begun devoting more time to.reading manga lately and it makes me realize that "best x of all time" really means "best x of the five I've read". You can't take lists like these (or the discussion around them) seriously because this is the full list of all the manga these people have read in their entire life. It's not a value judgment that their favourite manga is better than yours, because they literally haven't read your favourite.
