Ace grew up cursing Roger, knowing that the public's hatred of the man would extend to him. He found a father within Whitebeard and pledged everything to him. He was thankful to Shanks for being there for Luffy.
Teach uses Whitebeard to get where he needs to go. He kills him in cold blood and steals his power. He gave Shanks his scars. He keeps his lineage a secret, but seems to intentionally take after his father without the same grievances that Ace had.

At this point, we know Luffy is going to have to take someone in.

Young Dragon's face reminds me of Gear 4 Luffy.

All of this shows just how insane the new era really is compared to the old generation.

Luffy, at age 19, is massively stronger than most of the old pirates were at the same age. Kaido at 16 and Dragon at 17 don’t even seem comparable. On top of that, Luffy has the opposite effect on the Kuja Pirates, and would actually be affected by anyone.

Hancock, being considered even more beautiful than Shankky, likely slightly stronger, and with a Devil Fruit that can instantly kill anyone attracted to her, could have wiped out much of the old generation for playing around.

Even schemers like Blackbeard and Doflamingo seem like they would have been more effective in an age of aggression compared to the present day.

It's annoying how little screentime and relevance Shakky gets. Whenever Shalky's not on screen, all the other characters should be asking, "where's Shakky?" She should also be a major part of the backstory for every strawhat, worst generation, shichibukai, and admiral. Fucking Oda is wasting her.
