It's very straightforward so there's not really much to note other than how drastically Sayo's speech style changed after she returned to the band. Not sure if that was at all reflected in the subtitles. I'm predisposed to liking the Ave Mujica girls because they're getting shilled pretty hard in Arknights (for good reason but this is undoubtedly our highest effort collab, I'd say higher effort than a lot of the events we've had recently). Umiri's voice is a bit off-putting at first due to being nasally though by the end her personality won me over, same with Taki who I'd written off as a stick in the mud initially. My favorite's probably Tomori despite much of her dialogue being repetitive: her autism is extremely realistic to the point where they had to have done research during production. Even little things like how she takes promises super seriously even if they're generally minor things for girls her age. Maybe Tomori > Anon > Taki > Sayo > Raana, with noraneko coming in last for lack of character development (though she is cute). Best moment was the band's first concert. The worst is any moment where Tomori stutters and doesn't add much to the scene, but the negatives are mostly inconsequential to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sakiko's reason for leaving CRYCHIC is because she doesn't have time to fuck around anymore, right? I assume that's also why she pointed out the other members' flaws in the heat of the moment. She's working shitty part-times and her dad's a deadbeat...not sure why she's still an ojousama despite that.

Popular content creators are shining a spotlight on Sakiko, she's by far the strongest character. For obvious reasons, /vg/ isn't the most reliable place to get statistics, but on social media I haven't seen much noise about anyone but Sakiko either. Not a surprise at all. MyGO should've been a bit longer, honestly. I wish they'd gone into why she cares so deeply for Tomori rather than outright stating it. My interpretation thus far is that she feels obligated to protect Tomori, but unlike Soyo who chases after the members of CRYCHIC to preserve her own selfish happiness, Taki seems genuinely selfless. That they're foils: Soyo is outwardly kind despite being cruel and Taki is outwardly harsh despite being a caring person in nature.

The problem is that Hatsune isn't a complete stranger to her house as if she were an adopted child. Her mother is her biological mother, and Uika is related to her by blood (much more so than Sakiko). The only person she was not related to by blood was Mr. Misumi.

Then you could say she probably was sad her biological father (Sadaharu) didn't care about her, but Hatsune never seemed to particularly care about him, or any other Togawa that wasn't Sakiko.

I think people are reading too much into a single statement said by a girl in the midst of acute grief for her father having just died. There is no indication that Uika is a bad girl. It's very likely that Uika feels sorry for having said what she said.

Moreover, the intensity of her emotions for a girl that she met once are unreasonable from the perspective of any reasonable person. I'm not sure she had that choice. It makes zero sense to tell a kid that they're a bastard. It would only make sense if it was already an open secret on the island. In that case, it would have been a kindness to hear that from your family instead of learning only from hushed whispers of strangers. The real question is: Why not move from Shodoshima from the get-go? If it was going to be an open secret, why would you make a kid grow up in that environment? And as the illegitimate mistress, why would you stay? Any type of open secret would implicate the mom even harder.

Assuming that Hatsune's retelling is factual, it is telling, however, that it was her mom that refused Sadaharu's offer to move to Tokyo. I don't think it's unfair to say that the mom placed Sadaharu's welfare above Hatsune's, and I wouldn't be surprised if she continued to do so through her childhood. Knowing that your mom prioritized the happiness of bloodkin that you've never/rarely ever met despite being her flesh and blood daughter by her side can also readily fuck up a kid. It is for this reason that I think it's more likely that her mother might be more bitter towards Hatsune's actions than Uika would be.

We are well into speculation territory, but I wonder if Sadaharu forcibly moved Uika and the mom off of Shodoshima because of Hatsune's debut. Once again, I wonder how bitter that would have made mom.

It's somewhat unclear what the present state of her mind is at the end of the show but director and side materials seem to indicate that the two most dominant personalities that we've seen in conflict during the course of the entire season ("Mutsumi-chan"/Guitartsumi and Mortis) have taken a backseat to the Mutsuling LLM. The last scene we see of her distinct identities is of a highly depressed Mortis having failed at everything she's set out to do, throwing herself into the abyss with Mutsumi-chan to end this increasingly exhausting and zero-sum battle against herself. There is no self-actualization here. The most you can say is "at least she stopped suffering finally" and "at least she can make Nyamu cope and seethe (sexually, if you like that flavor of fan content)".
