Deidara's toolkit was insane and he was absurdly good in basically every area.
Sasuke only won because he could both see microscopic exploding nanobots and could use lightning style to disable them.
Deidara wins against a sharingan user without lightning element or a lightning element user without an advanced dojutsu. Sasuke was just lucky he had a good matchup.
