Then in Unlimited the protagonist Takeru somehow gets isekaied and there's no Sumika, but everyone else is recognizable as they were in Extra.
In Alternative, the supposed finale of the "trilogy" because who cares about Sumika herself right, first you get a depressing rodeo of Extraverse Sumika getting fucked up emotionally and failing at b-ball forever. During this period, she doesn't interact meaningfully with anyone besides the Takeru from another world, but that's okay because she's not meant to be a major character here.
Then when you finally get S00mika she doesn't interact with anyone that isn't Takeru or Kasumi for any meaningful length of time, and the latter is mostly implied. Why? Because she was traumatized from twizzlers and so on which made her become a vegetable. Every single scant scene she's in where she interacts with other members of the cast, she does nothing but seethe. There is absolutely nothing of the dynamic you saw from Extra with them. Her screentime consists of seething, jobbing, getting raped, getting fucked, and dying. Oh, and 'our' Takeru isn't actually 'her' Takeru, she was looking for 'a' Takeru. All of this stems from the fact kouki thought cuckshit was all he needed for S00mika and he could stuff her route with things that were not only irrelevant to her but, as shown above, she wasn't allowed to be involved with. In the short term it put Alternative on the map and made him a legend in the VN community, but in the long term it was the rot he failed to address which made him greenlight more disastrous decisions.
