Outfit wise I went with Amoris and Mortis for Taki and Raana respectively, because while Taki's MyGO outfit in black/red/gold looked great and somewhat fitting, Raana's didn't fit Mujica aesthetically at all, and changing just one of them felt bad in my gut

Speaking of Homura and Sakiko, I don’t get the hype around Homura. Episodes 1-9 of Madoka are basically her acting like Sakiko in MyGO, and the Rebellion movie’s long 6-minute Kyubey exposition when Homura turns into Homulily is pretty much Ave Mujica Episode 11.

Like I get her whole anguish thing, but it never really makes me want to root for her since we don’t see much of her good side. All I remember are the repeated timelines scene where she and Madoka almost die. With Sakiko though, we still get plenty of her softer side like her time with CRYCHIC, the karaoke scene desu wa, making up with Mutsumi, and her moments with Uika. Deep down you just want her to be happy again and step up to lead her band with her newfound drive.

The director talked about how Mutsumi and Mortis are no longer personalities and are more like how they were before Mutsumi got the guitar. So all the other Mutsulings are back and can switch in. Also the switching is suppose to be more fluid now they are more experience and don't have to rely on mere mimicry. What this all really means in practice is still kind of unknown.
There's a card story that takes place after the anime that goes into her head and you have a bunch of Mutsulings trying to figure out how to answer an interview. When they try to recall a memory that belonged to Mortis, they black out and awake to be at Space with Raana and the cats. So it seems like Mortis forcibly took control since the others didn't know what was happening. Also can't be sure if Mutsumi was even there talking with the Mutsulings because they questioned if a memory was Mutsumi's or Morti's which they should know if Mutsumi was present.
