After reading a novel centered on the school life of twin sisters, Meroron tells everyone that she wants to life out the school life with Purirun. But as they worry over being unable to attend school in their Precure forms, Meroron realizes something. For the sake of their dream school life, they use the Kirakkiran Ribon Baton to change their forms into......!? The next morning, now able to officially go to school, Purirun and Meroron enjoy their school life full of new experiences. Meanwhile, in Uta's class, a student teacher named Mochida has arrived.

Among the many fan letters sent to the Idol Precure, a particular one has caught Uta's eye. That particular letter was written by the sumo Kuri Kyuuta, who they have met prior. In it, he writes that he's doing his best to become a strong sumo, and though he feels discouraged at times, the Idol Precure cheer him up. After leaving the office, the girls meet Kuri Kyuuta by chance at the plaza. Kuri Kyuuta had been mistaken for the Precure prior, having boarded the transport machine MOMO with Purirun. Afterwards, he learned about the Idol Precure, and became a big enough fan to get a single digit membership number in their fanclub. After hearing his story, the girls cheer Kyuuta on. However, he mutters that he'll quit being a sumo, then declares that he'll become an Idol Precure instead.
