What's the focus of modern One Punch Man?

Season 1 was great when focusing on Saitima. He doesn't care about backstory of anyone or the tone of the fight or shonen monologues or anything and just punches the baguy and wins. Was a great dynamic. Seeing him not care about hero association power ranking whatever autism and just kill Frieza on the way home from the shops as the finale was great.

Season 2 seemed to actually focus on all these shonen whoever characters like Sonic Speed or Baseball Kid, although the point of the show was that that was all cringe just punch the guy lmao no-one wants to know Sasuke's backstory, and making them and their relationships and training to fight Garo the focus was bizarre.

The newer chapters on Golden Sperm or whatever I'm vaguely aware of but have no idea what they're doing with it. Does Saitama punch them like the classic chapters, or is it more Disco Man trying to throw lightning at him with the help of Captain Magic but they can't get past his spirit barrier yin yang bankai tangrams release so Hyper Kid does bla bla bla. I think God was introduced and it's all serious like Evangelion now?

I'll watch more if it's Saitama being a cool dude who doesn't give a shit. I don't understand what Season 2 was even supposed to be and if they continued with that style.

the first season worth of content is a proper parody that doesn't take itself too seriously but when it does it delivers decent moments like boros and rider
season 2 content is when it starts taking itself too seriously because the joke starts to get overplayed and constantly fucks up by committing the kind of shit it was mocking at the start of the series
by the time in the webcomic when mask unironically dumps his entire backstory with zero self awareness and expects the reader to take it completely seriously was when i realized ONE completely lost the plot of the damn thing
