Most suggestions for Liko's team were fairly thought through in terms of how it would complement her, her other Pokemon and something to mix things up. Yukimenoko and Goloog were two picks that are notably covering most of the factors I mentioned above. But when Mega Kairyuu was showcased, it was like a light switch was flipped and all cohesive thinking processes were turned off. Not even considering the possibility of just dumping it into a cotd or onto one of the others (Which ended up to be the case for Uruto). No, it was just Liko having it and that was the end of it.
