apothecary diaries is carried hard by the main character, who is exceptionally well-written. pity she's stuck in that show.

I rike! at least its different. For some people is boring, but I like the talks that they have, those reflect the ephemeral days of youth, which many of us thought as eternal, some talks are shallow, but even does convey the FeMCs' personalities and points of view. If anything is refreshing seein young people talking, comparing points of view, etc, and ton being enclosed in their own echochambers and walled gardens. And yeah, the talks feel organic, and not some forced cringy shit.

I dropped it after the second episode. It wasn't bad, but I didn't see it going anywhere. It wasn't romance; at most, it struck me as yuri bait that wasn't going anywhere.

I dropped it after the second episode. A copy of Dr. House in which a female doctor solves medical mysteries and has a dumb assistant. I didn't have the patience for any of the characters, and detective anime don't appeal to me.

The first few episodes promised that it was going to be really good, but since the tanuki arrived, they've stolen the show and taken the spotlight away from the robots. Ponko ruined the show. Although it's still better than most of the trash that comes out this year.
It's not a masterpiece, but it's worth watching.

In what way am I wrong? What trope do Kobato, Osanai, or Kengo possess? I don’t see Kobato as the smartypants with glasses, or Osanai as a tsundere, or Kengo as the outgoing jock type. Orbfags are fucking funny because I can’t point to a single good thing about this show. The dialogue is atrocious straight-up shounen level crap, and people try to pass it off as some deep shit. There’s not a single good flow of dialogue in this show, it’s pure jank. Shoushimin has more layered interactions, with tension running through every conversation, even in something as trivial as talking about tomato spaghetti.

Orb's direction is mid and outdated which makes sense since the director only ever did a rugby anime. The animation is below average, but everyone knows this and tries to excuse it with ‘uhh the writing is good so I don’t mind the animation being mediocre,’ except the writing falls off hard in the second half.

Supposedly the original version is a lot better, I haven't seen it. The Nube remake is a comfy episodic yokai anime and is a fun weekly watch, like a Gegege no Kitaro or the Junji Ito Collection TV anime.
That sounds like a bad comparison to a layman, but if you're into yokai/supernatural anime, you'll get what I mean. Helps that Nube has good character dynamics.

This is the current top10 of anime which started this decade, order it however you want. We have had many good shows but these are the ones that tried to elevate the medium beyond its current status quo by virtue of innovative direction, avant-garde writing or original storytelling.
I liked mushoku tensei, I like great pretender (until the last ep), ID:ivaded, lycoris, ousama ranking, frieren, girls band cry, medalist, they're all decent to great anime but not era defining.
This top10 are the Gurren Lagann, the aria, the kino's journey, the death note, the samurai champloo, the k-on!, the mononoke, the haruhi, the haibane renmei of the 2020s, they are the anime we will talt about and remember 20 years from now on, if you disagree you're just fucking retarded and no one will remember your favorite isekaislop184 or harem romcom397.

I am 100% sure that this anime is full of historical bullshit and the author studied the most superficial and urban legends about 15th century Europe to make the manga (imagine believing that scientists were burned alive for saying that the earth was round in big 2025, lol). Maybe if you ignore this, it is a very good story, but just as a Japanese wouldnt like to see a bastardization of Japanese history I prefer to do the same.

Just wanna say the first episode isn’t a good representation of the show. It gets really fun once you settle in with the cast and their banter. The scriptwriter also worked on Bocchi the Rock, so you get plenty of funny banter further in the show.

Onimai is the best anime recently. We need Season 2 and hentai OVAs, including one of pregnant Mahiro pushing the babies out without painkillers.

For those terms theyre fine within a group of like minded people/people who are smart to actually know what they mean within the context. Sadly with retards they become missused and theyre bad at conveying the idea when used as such. They also need added fluff/context around them to make the words mean something when youre shilling a show to another anon.
