I think it's ambiguous enough at this point that someone could see their favorite nativist in it if they wanted to. I've seen people think it has to do with colonialism(unlikely since the creators are japs).The tourism one seems the most likely to me though. Will have to see.

To be fair the Birthday Snatchers have had every opportunity to explain what the fuck they're talking about but they just dance around it and spout cryptic nonsense. Just get to the fucking point. I know it's a show written for little kids, overall the writing is quite good too. The lack of understanding isn't the fault of the girls though.

I know the show is unlikely to be popular enough to get Symphogear style character concerts but it would be Kino as hell to have a Band Snatch concert.

One of the most popular manga of all time has the villain be a giant clear metaphor for American imperialism / manifest destiny so I wouldn't think it's out of the picture, but a lot of it really depends on what's actually going on in the rest of Alicepia that we don't know yet. Most Alicepians seem happy with the girls being there and even Band Snatch seem more ambivalent about it than anything, since they still need a source of musessence and they outright kinda like the Princesses.

I am holding out hope that Princession will have a huge 180 moving into the second half. It's clearly building up to something, and they're not afraid to do weirder stuff. We're doing Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, anon. At most you may get a Jack character, but more likely a Red and White knights. Maybe the Lion and Unicorn, or a Jubjub since we're already 2 for 3 on Jabberwocky references. Also, of note, I'm pretty sure the Queen is the Red Queen and not the Queen of Hearts, which is a point against her being a pure villain.

I'm hoping the show can actually deliver on whatever it wants to do because it's clear that at times they wished to do more than they were able to. Near every time they use a musessence power-up early on they basically have a miniature henshin scene complete with a glow going over their bodies but then nothing changes visually and you can just tell they wanted those to come with design changes and partly different outfits but they did not have the budget/manpower/time to make it so.
