I also started Suite and Maho today too. I posted screenshots for both and they both have good 1st episodes too.
But HeartCatch, I just don't know, it just felt to me stunning to watch.
The intro with Cure Moonlight was already astonishing and created lots of interest for me plus it was done quickly in 3 minutes.
Even just the idea that Tsubomi dreams that fight I thought was neato.
Tsubomi being a really shy character feels so very fresh to watch and her wanting to change which is reflected in great comedy in her actions.
Erika is also such a darling hyper girl who is also the polar opposite of her.
That entire classroom scene showed how completely different they are to hilarious results.
And I feel also showed they couldn't be friends because they clash with each other so hard so I'm interested how it goes even if it lasts one episode to get them to become a duo.
Erika showing her insecurities in so many different ways while she also tries to hide them was engrossing. She's really a big sensitive girl who is very loud which unfortunately annoys others.
Her emotions being conveyed from the monster was so cool. I'm already super invested.
The Tsubomi boob joke was also hilarious.
If the thread doesn't die just yet. I'll make another post quickly about the little details and names of stuff I liked.
