This is kinda dumb as all the worlds scientists would have realized something was off within a month of the moon getting closer. The moon is very slowly receding from the earth and is extremely predictable in where it will be at a given time. If it was off by a minute with an ever growing trend it would be headlines all over the world.
The moon has nothing to do with the seasons, only the tides and the churning of the molten core which builds the magnetic field.

Most "smart" locks are pretty easy to bypass if you have a powerful switchable magnet. You just have to know where to place the magnet to actuate the relay.
