I'd say its the worst piece of media to adapt into anime since anime wont carry over the art quality, but they will carry over the plot and characters and I dont see that going well.

I don't know if the new pushing is real or not but this series at one point had inconsistent and for a while no translations and some people on /a/ (like me) loved the art and it seemed interesting at first. I even bought a few issues of Morning Two to see what would happen next when the translations stopped. But now that it has an official translation there does seem to be a weirdness surrounding its current fanbase. Especially considering that the series itself even outside a lot of the stuff /a/ gets mad at has been pretty mediocre for most of the current arc.

I think the biggest mistake the mangaka have done for this manga is the direction she is trying to lead it to. Story is obviously suffering from a strong sense of agency and sensible plot progression, it should have just become a SoL where it truly shined at the beginning, the readers are more attracted to the world building than the plots and drama that runs along with it.
