I agree, it's the perfect mecha design. . I always thought the ideal mecha design (at least for a Super Robot) should be more like a fancy sports car rather than a weapon and Shin Getter fits that to a T. It doesnt go too far into the mechanical aspect nor does it look like it's just a giant dude in a costume or a Kaiju made of metal.
The only mechs that come close aside from other Getter machines are probably Mazinkaiser and Gunbuster, but even then there's a big gap and Arc looks better than both imo
