An early spoiler for the ch was out since yesterday.
The spoiler guy just shared some info rather than a synopsis so far. Serie could have avoided her death in a number of ways (I assume stuff like, clones, just don't go, etc) but in every future she did, the CMA would suffer horrible casualties, which Serie couldn't abide. In short, she chose their lives over hers. Also, in her vision of her death, her mana detection never goes off, so the attack is definitely not from a mage.
Serie dislikes magics that predict the future because they are limited and inaccurate. Nevertheless, many who became first class mages asked for one, so Serie gave them away one after another. But all of them died. Serie speculates that someone with similar abilities hunted them down and murdered them.
The chapter reveals that Serie did meet the Hero of the South. Among all of humanity, Serie judges that his future sight is the most complete and unrestricted. Beyond Serie's own future viewing magics. Future seeing magics are very rare, and most came from tribes in the southern lands that were annihilated during the human wars in the south.
Spoiler guy speculates that maybe Lowe's motive is tied to a vision of the future from when he fought Minus down in the southern lands.

1. We don't know how he felt when they set off on their journey
2. We don't know how he felt after Himmel's death - he dodges Frieren's question

"Hero" is a translation of Yuusha, the player character job role from DragonQuest and a standard archetype in isekai. The Yuusha traditional wields a great sword and has some magic abilities. The main aspect of the archetype is their high charisma, getting stronger when in a pinch, and the only ones able to defeat the Demon King. Warriors are just strong melee weapon users without much overlap with Yuushas aside from using melee weapons.

If a baby demon was to raised with the purpose of integrating them into human civilization, it would probably require some pretty inhumane shit.
