I'm pretty sure this method is more expensive because eggs in Japan cost the same as in the USA, despite food usually costing much less there(accounting for living wages). I don't know if I'd want to spend more money on eggs just to be able to eat them raw.

personally, I get out my steel pan, put a bit of salted butter in it, fry some chopped garlic in it and then add cooked rice. Then I crack two eggs into it, some black pepper, turn off heat and quickly stir it in and serve. Good comfort food.

You can pasteurize your own eggs pretty easily with a pan and water. Haven't done it myself but I hear the consistency is the same, though it looks more cloudy.

Usually when i cook with eggs no matter how i cook them i leave them out for a while so they're room temp instead of straight from the fridge. Works better every time.

I raise chickens, you don't need to wash the egg that much. rinse it with warm water and use a brush to scrub it a little just before you use it. there is a protective layer on the egg that protects against bacteria. when an egg is cooked, it kills all bacteria left in it from the hen.

The other day I swallowed 5 eggs raw at once from a glass. I'm argentinian and I have faith in the quality of our animal products.
Recently I also finally tried the ramen (instant) with an egg on it. But I fried the egg apart then put it on the ramen though. It was very tasty.

False. We refridgerate eggs in Poland. All fridges come with egg compartments and all the recipes I've seen mention taking the eggs out ahead of the time so they warm up to room temperature.
We don't remove the cuticle and the stores sell the eggs non refridgerated. Refridgeration just makes them last longer

Tried this in my weebier years. It was fucking disgusting, there's just no way to sugarcoat it. It's somewhat edible when you keep the rice on the heat and mix it until the egg's fully cooked, like scrambled eggs with rice in it. But while it's still uncooked? That bland, slimy fucking rice that stinks like raw egg? Not even s-o-y sauce can save that shit. Just the memory of it makes me gag.
