From the characters perspective, is a whole different world disconnected from their old place.
The only thing they share is the most common language which even Mercenary thinks is strange (he speaks many languages due to his job and experience).

Pick Me Up
I reached Chapter 164. And, well I like how the battles play out and the base building aspect, the point of view of the units rather than the player etc.
But if there is one huge issue I have is how the subplots play out. Often they are introduced, seemingly developed for something and most of them are swiftly cut off. As if the author doesn't want to handle them now or just put them in as filler.
Like on multiple occasions we get buildups of people stealing or doing whatever they want in the tower while Loki and the others are climbing. The moment he is back they tend to be eliminated super fast. Which, sure, I don't like those characters but when this happens repeatedly it makes me question the point.
Pic related in particular was the worst of it. Pick Me Up introduced an odd girl that is the sister of some knight. She is in the background of a few chapters trying to talk to people and use her status, which highlights her being spoiled but at the same time felt it'd have more importance. Then the moment her brother is finally introduced she is swiftly killed off. It tells us the degree of the timeline being rewritten by their hands but at the same time it's throwing away the subplot.
In a similar vein it's my issue with Loki himself. When Tel is introduced and trying to goad him he keeps shutting her off and throwing knives at her. It shows he doesn't trust (he shouldn't) but cuts us off exposition. Now recently we finally get to see a 7 Star hero. But he is an onedimensional isekai'd player and killed off just as fast.
That's it. It told us the nature of the 7 Star and justified Loki's distrust of Tel, but at the same time it shows me the author is once again throwing breadcrumbs at me and pushing that plotline away
