It's good but not as good as S1. Imaishi has lost his edge:

Upon rewatch I think The Longest Bitchyard is the best season 2 episode. Visually it's fantastic, the best rendition of the characters across both the shows with the rounder and softer designs, and the animation is equally as impressive throughout with constant full body movement, old school rubberhose animation and full tridimensionality of the bodies during the sport scenes. Conceptually it's genius in how it parodies prison movies with the idea of a prison ghost that thrives on making the characters act bad, and in how that is the direct driving force of the narrative with the constant meddling from the ghost (that becomes more obvious upon rewatch) and the catalyst for the character development when he ticks them off and they decide to prove him wrong. And the execution is perfect across the board, the pacing may be the best in the season and the way the final match synchronizes the action and the takedown of the ghost with the characters refuting his assertions is flawless.

S2 still lacks the emotional climax of seeing panty fucking brief but it might happen soon.
S2 is far above s1 in OST by virtue of having all the tracks from s1 on top of new remixes and the polys theme.
S2 has far less scat peepee poopoo humour which is a huge + considering how much of that garbage plagued s1.
Garter was far more entertaining and fun in s1 but the Polys might make up for it.
Tranformation sequences are far better in s2 obviously.

They played a major role in the coin collecting. They were there when the faggot angels showed up and got turned into a horse. They were in the prison episode, they were in the dance episode etc...

Watch more anime, newfag. It's not very impressive and they didn't really animate bodies. The animated the outlines of the bodies during the sports game, they didn't put the effort in to animate the shadows when even typical seasonal anime can do.

It looks ugly and pushed the style in the direction of calarts. The sharp edges are one of the few things this schlock gets right style wise.
