The red line is the serpent. This was a popular theory that actually got canonized in the Harald flashback but so many other hype things happened no one even mentioned it.

I think the earth god was Onigashima who erected the earth walls to protect Wano from the flood, also known as Oars the continent puller. The Oars in TB was actually Oars II and Little Oars Jr. is Oars III hence his flag. The elbaf mural showed the serpent having a breath battle against a massive horned dragon, and the text said the serpent and earth god raged. This could imply the earth god wasn't just a giant but a massive dragon. Don't forget Roger had a massive egg on his ship.

I think the forest god was Lili, the text of the elbaf mural said the forest god sent the demons. Zou had a forest on it's back and Zunesha had the same ringed eyes as Imu and Saturn when he used demonic powers. The elbaf mural shows the Imu figure on top of Zou which makes no sense because Zou was on Joyboy's side, unless you consider that Imu stole Lili's body as Doflamingo claimed the Ope Ope would let him take over that thing atop the world and rule it. That thing being Lili's body. Imu stole it and used demon contract to give the gorosei and god knights demonic powers, Zunesha was Lili's demon contract. Imu also created a forest in Lili's body atop Marijoise. Lili is a reference to Lilith the demon, first wife of Adam before Eve who left the garden to defy God and became a demon. Hence Lili being a demon and now Imu in her body being in their own garden under the Eve tree. This ties into the forbidden fruits of Eden category what with the devil fruits, and the flooding and Noah themes. Oda used a lot of biblical and semetic religion stuff along with the Norse mythology and Mayan mythology

Celestial Dragons have been manipulated and raised to believe that they are superior to humans and other races, so much that they would actually consider other lifeforms being literally worthless.

Im not saying that they are the victims, but children do inherit their values and behavior from their parents and surroundings. They are basicly prisoners of their circumstances if that makes sense.

After re-reading Wano I have a better idea of what bothers me about it. The Oden flashback is meant to be the lynchpin of the arc but it doesn't connect to the characters we've been following or are meant to care about the same way One Piece arc flashbacks normally do.

Momonosuke and Hiyori aren't even born halfway into the flashback and spend the rest of it as babies, and Yamato didn't exist in the story at that point. The scabbards knew and cared about Oden but we barely got to know half of them, and later in the arc finale they are either KO'd or demoted to fighting minor battles while Yamato and Momonosuke not only get to fight Kaido but also stop Onigashima from destroying the capital and they are the ones who come see the strawhats off the island. The Oden flashback even doubles as a window to what Whitebeard and Roger were doing back in the day that has nothing to do with Wano's cast. Also, Oden spent like 10 years combined sailing and then dancing naked, the important years of him bonding with the scabbards and turning them into his respected retainers was a short montage with the development largely taking place offscreen.

Yamato gets her own flasback later but she was introduced as late as during the raid itself, none of this was building up to her but it overtakes the Oden flashback because now there's a character with a strong personal connection with Oden, Luffy (via Ace) AND Kaido who's actively taking part in the finale and teaming up with Momonosuke. But it's also the first time we've ever seen her, and the arc is almost over.

tl;dr who the fuck the emotional core of Wano? Even Oda couldn't decide.
