That's because the Bocchi the Rock anime was genuinely good, and reducing Bocchi's assets was a good creative decision. It wasn't done because boobs = bad or because masculine sexuality is bad or whatever, it was done because there were other elements besides sex appeal that they wanted to emphasize, both for the series as a whole and for Bocchi in particular.
If they anime had been shit or if they hadn't added anything beyond what they took away, I'd also be complaining about "censorship" probably, because I would probably believe they reduced her boobs for a non-artistic reason.

It hasn't gotten worse. What is being censored may have changed though. Censorship on violence has gotten more lax in fact. But so many people care now (I'm being generous assuming it isn't just one guy even though it seems like it is) because it's muh boobs and muh panties (which again, isn't new, and has been going on since the 00s). I have yet to see a thread spammed by this guy talking about violence censorship at all. And it's also all the same like 5 shows being posted, all within the last couple of years.

We've always gotten censorship threads, or talking about censorship in airing threads when something gets censored. Obviously that also happened in bocchi threads. The reason for why we've seen an increase in these threads the past few days is directly related to someone in the industry admitting to censoring due to ideological reasons, the kind we see in the west.
