Kenny is assuredly better written. Sukuna wouldn't enter top 3 best villains in the series. The only interesting things about him are how he comes back from the past and how he thinks constantly reincarnating makes him think he's better than all and escaped universe's most primary rule of death while ensuring he is strong enough to defeat anyone who comes after him for stealing a strong sorcerer's body.

Kazusa comes on a plane, Haruki makes a firm decision, Setsuna chooses not to jump in by not using the traffic accident as leverage. Plus Setsuna's POWDER SNOW at the end feels like the VN is saying "this is the intended end."

I didn't mind the intention, it's true shonen often wanks teamwork to end with only 1 on 1s so I appreciated the attempt to make other characters beside the MC matter. It was probably just a matter of too many peanuts spoil the broth. It should have been just the lawyer, the comedy guy, Twintails, and the french guy helping the og cast.

Billy Bat has some underrated bad guys. Their motivations and flaws are human in how pity they are sometimes.
Kurusu's end hit me the most. Him realizing that he never needed the wish was such a sobering revelation. He could have ended the world with all of that pent-up anger but decided to just go quitely. Quite fitting after revealing his past.
