I think he's a pretty solid MC. Too many MCs lately are just generic nice-guys, they're pussies who freak out in the face of danger, and serve as obvious audience mouthpieces/insert characters. Just started watching this and the first episode was extremely boring because the MC has next to no personality, but the blonde and redhead are actually really fun characters so it actually became entertaining once they showed up, and they're over the top enough that the MC can act as a foil with a few jokes of his own when he's not effortlessly showing everyone up with how much effortless effort he's put in.
