Has anyone read the Hathaway novels? I've finished 0079 and I'm going to start reading/finishing any Gundam adaptations and I got a huge backlog lol. I kinda wanna go in order again and I just finished 0079. (I liked it but I'm definitely mixed on it too. I hate how the ending was like 10 pages and 1 page was literally the epilogue) I know now that anyone who says Amuro dies halfway in is fucking talking bullshit and I can easily disregard their opinion. He dies like 30-40 pages left to the end from like 479 pages.

Instead of trying (and failing) to convey half-baked philosophical and political themes from writers who barely know or read anything about philosophy and politics beyond CliffsNotes-tier high school summaries, it focuses on a more traditional sports shonen rivalry type of story.

Oh, and since we're talking about Gundam, go buy and play Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON on PS4/PS5. Literally the most fun Gundam game around, even if you're only playing singleplayer.

i hope they go with the former and make more stand alone series even something like SOL diaries of the Anaheim factory worker, or even make adaptions of some of the other novel/manga spin offs. If they want to stick to UC they could easily do char's daily life-but i somehow think you're right with f91 as much as i don't like it. it currently has a manga prequel and current serialization which the artist copies yas's style pretty closely.
