Recently, I heard the name "Rachel" somewhere, and my first thought was that it wasn't a name I have been encountering too often. It took me a while to remember that I'm seeing it near daily in this storytime. Seems like I immediately think "Ran" instead of "Rachel" so automatically that the latter barely even registers.

To be fair, he is a thief that infiltrates places by disguising as other people, have to make sure those people don't walk into the room at the same time. He does spend a suspicious amount of time disguising as women, though.

5 pieces of string before you shoot.
1 tied to each arrow.
1 tied between the arrows
2 tied about halfway on the string between arrows.
Then you just hold the 4 strings before you move the body.

This whole case is kind of stupid. What kind of a nutcase spends adult years copying her sister in everything instead of just developing her own taste? Okay, so the guy her sister dated fell in love with her, but why not just move in with him, why is her sister the one that has to move out on top of being everything? Compared to that, the fact she bought safe combination of cleaners is kind of a poor proof of love.
But they are both crazy I guess, just yell at the bitch, no need for a murder.

You'd be surprised how common this thing is with sisters. I know a couple where they basically stopped talking completely because one of them was fed up with her sister choosing the same career and accused her of copying everything.

Oh, there are definitely a lot of crazy people irl, but choosing same career can be seen as coincidence (career choices are often influenced by getting familiar with it through parents), while buying exactly same items to the point where they have to mark everything with their names is something one doesn't really do past being a small, annoying child. It's like she never developed her own personality. And by her own words, Kenji wasn't the first sister's boyfriend she fell in love with, so definitely too clingy.

I don't think that part's too unrealistic. Since she always lived with her sister, their dynamic never changed. She might've gained some independence after she moved in with her husband, or she might've started copying him instead, some people can't help it. Making her sister move out after marrying her former boyfriend is sadly not that over the top as far as callous behavior between family members goes.
Anyways, this is far from the most ridiculous murder motivation in this series. Stay tuned for more!
