I liked the show, but some of the backgrounds were impressively terrible. Just photos with a filter, but crappy photos with a bad filter.

Mostly due to the connection with yuru camp, which is one of the most popular and successful animes currently airing and doesn't seem to have an end in sight (this is a good thing btw). Mono did grow to have an identity of its own, and while it did slip up with some episodes being weaker, it was all around well recieved
I'm convinced someone just made a bot that bumps mono threads with multiple variations of >mono is/was [synonym for bad]
It happens every time mono threads are made or mono is mentioned in nonmono threads
