Hard to tell.
Season 1 had the best dramatic parts so far, also the naked pool episode and cattle mutilation were great.
However season two finally gifted us with Evil Eye, Kinta and Vamola, and also I think the anime managed to improve under the comedy aspect a bit in season 2 compared to season 1.
Kinta switching off Momo's screen was on point, for example. Still not as funny as the manga, but honestly that's to be expected since the manga makes abundant use of its medium.
Can't wait for S3 and S4 already.

I think context is incredibly important here. Okarun wanted a friend first, absolutely. There's not much pretense after this, she saw him vulnerable and neither can pretend she did.
