Eureka kills Renton halfway through the original series and then "dreams" a trillion other alternate realities including the rest of the TV series and all of AO as a coping mechanism because she is literally God. Eventually she ends up invading actual modern day Japan and after modern day Anemone makes her stop being edgy there's a timeskip and Eureka becomes an Alcoholic CIA agent that is also severely scared across her entire body. In the last 5 minutes Renton reappears to kiss her and this saves the entire planet, but they disappear from reality.

the first 25 minutes of the first movie are the only good part of the trilogy, serving as a prequel. The rest of that movie is redubbed tv show footage. You can honestly turn it off after the prequel segment.
second movie is decent enough if you can ignore all the terrible CGI segments and shitting all over the lore and characters, I would have probably liked it if it was its own original IP.

I had to watch Pocket Full Of Rainbows as SRW homework.
It's not good, but I wouldn't really call it offensive. Just an hour and a half exercise at being that one episode of Macross made almost entirely of recycled footage.

I liked AO. Eureka first reunion with Ao is lovely and lives rent free in my head. The OST is great. The end is appropriate. The movies aren't canon, and I don't care what the creator says.
