The prounoun shit is hilariously overblown and has almost no bearing on the events of the actual game. There's two non-binary characters in the game. One of them is Raqio, who is a turbo-logical sciencefag who gives zero shits about gender and reproducing in general, the other is Setsu who is a military cyborg so you could take it as them having no gender to begin with. I don't remember them bringing any attention to the gender shit outside of one scene between MC and Raqio where Raqio clarifies his stance on the matter.

Yeah, it's pretty fun and engaging. I'd say it peaks in the early game loops where your stats are shit and as a result are in real danger of getting iced/killed if you fuck up. In those stressful situations you can get really into the moment-to-moment gameplay and be theorizing who is what, suspecting why they acted the way they did, and forming a game-plan for survival. In the later loops the game can get pretty boring and repetitive as you're high enough level and have special skills unlocked to steamroll through discussions. The ending itself requires you getting all character events which are kind of RNG and can depend on what role the characters get in a loop. So you can get stuck repeating loop after loop just trying to get the last few events you need to unlock the ending. But overall I really recommend it. Fun gameplay for the most part, gripping story and characters, and pretty unique artstyle.

Amnesia is an exhausting, overused trope at this point, and its use to justify large info dumps is, sadly, nothing new. But it gets especially annoying when the setting is unusual, and they start throwing around a bunch of new terminology that borders on technobabble, as in this series. To its credit, though, it is directed in a way that manages to keep you interested. I wasn't expecting this adaptation to have strong production values, but as far as this episode is concerned, it looks solid.

The first vote had nothing for the characters to actually discuss so they just voted randomly and that half of the episode was boring. how did this garbage get an anime adaptation?
I played this after being told it was similar to raging loop, and it was some of the worst werewolf "simulator" ever breathed to fiction.

The setting is barely used outside of gag characters and plot conveinence, unlike RL where being a backwater village is important characterization and how you approach the feast.
The over-arching plot is drip fed and is insanely boring. Not to mention the "flash back" scenes. I swear nip writers think flashbacks are obligatory bc of one piece or something. Even tho RL shits the bed at the end, the intrigue is well paced until then.
and the characters are all too quirky, so none feel intimidating and they blend together too much.

Not even going to bother explaining how bad the deduction gameplay is.
