during the Chunin finals when Naruto is fighting Neji, Sakura is gushing about Sasuke's upcoming fight and isn't paying attention at all so Ino berates her and tells her that Naruto is her teammate too and she should cheer for him. When Naruto first comes back to the village she's the most excited and happy to see him besides Hinata.

Neji pretty quickly comes around to Naruto's beliefs after their fight. What I meant is He and Naruto understand each other well enough that they can plan their movements around each other and synergise really well whenever they're teamed up. Same with Shino; both guys 'get' how Naruto works and adjust their strategies accordingly and happen to have skills that work well with his.

Neji would find Naruto annoying and a failure just like Sasuke did. He'd pretty much be Sasuke 2.0. It's only after Neji gets corrected by Naruto in the chunin exams does he mellow out.

Haku is a jonin-tier threat that would give Kakashi a run for his money. Neji can't do his rotation forever, and Haku's ice mirror clone ability would allow him to figure out and hit Neji's blind spot.

lol no he wasn't. Haku was pulling punches because he doesn't like killing children, but after Sasuke managed to lightly singe his clothes he said "fuck it" and put Sasuke down pretty much instantly. Naruto had to push to full kyuubi mode to turn it around.
There’s no way Nejicels think he can take Haku during Land of Waves. It’s spelled out that no ordinary child has no business dealing with that guy. Baki is purposely avoiding the kill against Sasuke, and it takes a complete surprise by the 9 Tails to overwhelm him. Even then, Haku doesn’t want to kill either of them. Narratively speaking, Haku is closer to Kakashi than Neji.
