Everything has aired its 1st episode, so let’s share our first impression!
I had low expectation, but surprisingly, there’s a lot of good anime to watch! (and a lot of garbage too, of course).

>Nohara Hiroshi Hiru Meshi
A must watch if you’re a fan of Tonegawa + Hanchou, since it’s basically the same thing but with Shin-chan’s dad. Very fun but only if you understand Japanese since the English subs are incomprehensible unedited MTL

>Kamen Rider ni Naritai
Amazing. Everything is great... except the glaring sexual (butt) censorship even in this pre-dominantly adult-cast anime. I fucking hate Reiwa it’s unreal. It’s still one of the most enjoyable anime this season despite that. And we still got nice balloon tits anyway (cope).

An OG by PA Works, but it’s just sooooo bad. The plot is too uninspired and there isn’t a single likeable character. It’s amazing how much this sucks. Go make Hibimeshi S2 instead!

This is like Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu, but with y*ri instead of yaoi. Except this one is even worse. Yea this shit is BORING. A total SNOOZEFEST with nothing interesting going on. You can tell since the threads are extremely slow and keep getting necrobumped by y*ri fans who wish this had as much appeal as Watanare

More like Shuumatsu BORING. I can’t really explain it, but it’s missing something crucial that’d make this kind of anime enjoyable. The ugly character design doesn’t help either.

This is defnitely THE worst shoelacer anime I’ve ever seen. It’s pure shit even for a shoelacer anime. There’s not a single ++ about this stinky trash bin. It’s amazing that the author managed to write something this awful.

It’s ok, but this series is beyond overrated (in Japan). The races are way too shallow with the exact same development everytime. It gets boring. I think I dropped the manga after Japan Cup, which is this season.

I’m amazed by how this extremely normalfag-friendly series is this consistently good. I’m glad that the author is very professional that he keeps drawing on schedule even though he (allegedly) hates it. He got my respect unlike Food Court’s mentally ill mangaka. Fiona is the best girl b t w.

I only lurk the threads for boobies screencaps. This anime is dogshit with godawful impotent ass MC, but I appreciate that smut anime like this exists in the Great Censorship Era of Reiwa

Despite being 30% 3d, 50% 3d based cutout and 20% cutout the show is kind of fun. Watching average salaryman ruining his own lunchtime is like watching car cash in slow motion.

Zatsu tenkou last cub is the most disappointing show this season. Neither did post apocalypse or local touring sol very well. Random lore pieces are handled carelessly it is obviously they want you to find out what happened but at the same time it doesn't matter at all. Like having random military equipment as /k/ bait but it doesn't matter if they are replaced with something else. Since the world is already fucked up they aren't doing much actual sightseeing either. On the plus side I binged Gakkou Gurashi thanks to this, that's a proper post apocalypse sol.

I like the idea, a shoujo comedy combined with the wish-fulfillment power fantasy. A beautiful lady goes around and pummels various evil shitters into the ground while being chased by a comically stereotypical blonde prince who fell in love with her sadism. It's nice so far, the animation is cool, and it gave me quite a few chuckles. I only wish action scenes were more satisfying.

The first of its kind, an actual fucking native isekai. It's a fun show so far, even if you know the main spoiler. It has a lot of fun playing with the genre, it looks pretty, not!Aqua is funny, and the main character is sexy.

This one is similar to winter's Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan, it's a parody of villainess isekai from the perspective of a person who really shouldn't have been put in that role. A Christmas cake yumejoshi gets trucked into her own high school fanfic, and now she gets to hang out with her own self-insert and an obligatory squad of bishounen. The humor is actually very on point, albeit it's very fast-paced. It really feels like something written by a current era otaku.

This one's fucking great so far. A superb love letter to old Kamen Rider shows, with a lot of great humor striking visuals. Tackle inherits the "absolute semen demon" status that Nagi from Ruri no Houseki held last season. I'm really enjoying it, but not quite as much as

An absolute standout of the season so far. Science Saru delivers as usual, the visuals are stunning and the story is very curious. Paru Itagaki never does things the normal way, so I'm hyped for what's to come.

I disagree. The best thing about originals is that you're watching an original story. With adaptations, you never get that feeling of watching a show that's new for everyone in the audience. Manga/LN readers might not spoil the fun for you outright, but there's no hype beyond seeing what decisions the director would make. All the most fun moments I had on /a/ were related to original shows.

Apocalypse Hotel and Kowloon Generic Romance are up there, as is G Quacks if you like OG Gundam. there are plenty of other good shows, inlcuding Hikaru, but beyond the top list it's very much up to personal taste.
