One thing I kinda gripe at is that the mangaka keep telling us that the Ground is an awful place... but they have shit like bars, candies, festivals, arts installations, police force. Sure they have garbage rain (that they can see coming) and it's cloudy all the same time, but that's pretty light. Trash Beasts don't feel like they're an actual problem at all because the Cleaners are always able to easily destroy them.

The Hole from Dorohedoro is a lot better when it comes to mixing awful, awful post-apocalyptic ghetto and mundane everyday life.

I can't understand how people are still calling this manga boring. The setpieces are cool, the powers are creative, the characters and dynamics are fun, the tone is a good mix of funny and dark, and every chapter ends with me wanting to know more:

> What exactly is Riyo's full past?
> Why does Zoydl want to destroy the Sphere?

Does the Watchman series come with a sweet hat?

Does this story ever again mention the upper/outside world? Feels like it completely abandoned the original premise and setting and now just exists in a different world. Like the first couple of episodes weren't even necessary.
