The only weakness the giude has is genuine gratitude and kindness. How many protags are distrustful and rude to those who reincarnate them? Other than the authors preference in female character designs and the inclusion of mecha and AI, it barely even feels like Evil Lord has anything more than that in common with Otome Mob. Liam and Leon are very different. If anything, in terms of similarity Leon has some similarities with Lyle (7th), while Liam has some similarities with Rudel (Dragoon), but the two groups are entirely different and have pretty much no similarities. He solved nearly everything during season 1 and earned the respect of the Saintess too who burned a really precious orb to fix his arm from permanent damage after he sacrificed his spoils to heal the girl that was comatose from a beast's attack.
