I will never understand how Bakugo got so popular. It's almost like Hoshi himself gaslighted the audience into thinking he's more important than he is.
He gets so much of the spotlight in the series at the expense of almost everyone without the surname Todoroki, and yet doesn't really achieve anything until the very final arc:

Bakugou theoretically is like the Japanese answer to Eric Cartman from South Park and Bender from Futurama, a wild card force of humor and chaotic freedom in a world more absurd than it needs to be.
