The main characters all received plenty of development. Nono overcoming her height for example, or Jun getting back into climbing. Or if you mean their rivals, being reduced to caricatures such as zombie or spider was the entire bit.

It gave her great analytic skills but not stamina or climbing ability, as was the plot of most of the show. She could read the holds on the wall, but needed to learn how to use her body to climb them. She also started off really bad at speed climbing.

Low budget single cour, but the characters were sex if you like toned bodies (or look at Nono if you don't, pic related).

If there's one anime that deserves a 1/10 rating, that's One Piece. I'm sure many would give any battle shonen 1 on the spot, but assume we're generous like OP. Let's give Naruto, jjk and the likes 2/10 for effort. There's nothing to justify dragging a franchise's corpse this long. It'd go 6/10, 5/10, 3, 2/10... if you're generous enough to give the first arc a passing grade, what do you give the ten thousandth time it's been re-threaded? Adding to that there's even filler, which might've done it for OP. I wouldn't mind if it became known as -the- 1/10 (if not 0/10) anime. It's a soulless mockery of itself.

My lowest-rated anime that I actually watched from start to finish is Maria†Holic, which I gave a 4/10. Even though the writing was absolute garbage, I couldn’t bring myself to drop it - Shaft’s visual style is just too damn good.
