You misunderstood my point. As a species, humanity has been blessed with an inability to discern "race" in an actual sense. Other social species, such as mice, can somewhat accurately determine if another mouse is related to them by smell. They'll attack mice who aren't related to them since from an evolutionary perspective, this means that they are removing competition from individuals who share less genes.
This is what true racism looks like, and if we couldn't overcome that as a species, we wouldn't have western or eastern countries, just a bunch of clans fighting each other.
When scientists say that 'race' is a debunked concept, they are not making a political statement: we as a species are bad at discerning people with shared genes, so we've had to categorize people based on obvious features like skin color, that turn out to be a pretty poor proxy for the actual genetic concept of race.
If you go back a few hundred centuries, most people in European countries would associate more with their local community than with their country. Their dialects may have been barely mutually intelligible. They were diverse.
Successful nations have to be able to unify such diverse people. The United States is a very successful nation because it's been able to integrate a wide group of people. I would argue that the secret sauce is liberty and rule of law, since these principles allow a diverse set of people to pursue their own happiness and trust each other despite not exactly agreeing on what 'happiness' looks like. When these principles are eroded, people start to impose their version of happiness on their neighbors, and partiality in the application of the law erodes the trust in a common good. That's when countries fracture into their diverse constituents. That's polarization.
Fracturing Precure fans based on nationality makes our shared culture weaker. It makes us less able to produce OC and good discussions. So please reconsider.
