The problem with that is they need to do one of three things.
Charge duties up front.
Send duty unpaid, however that opens them up to a huge risk of packages rejected by any of the major courier companies then the duties fall back on amiami to pay.
Increase prices across the board to cover for it or make a specific amiami Us site
Unfortunately none of those options are really good options right now. The first one is better for customers but because the guy changes things on a whim who knows what's going to happen. On top of that you really need to think about the declaration. If they ship to the US they're going to need to declare most as Chinese products and thus not eligible for the 15% duty.
I really do feel for them as being stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's a shitty place to be in as a consumer and business owner.

In my country we get charged a 19% tax for customs (was 16% but govt has been trying to squeeze more money out of us) and every single package gets inspected to make sure we arent trying to import restricted or forbidden materials.
The problem with american customs is that they lack the infrastructure and personnel to start inspecting every single package and orange man tried to solve it just telling other countries to calculate the potential custom taxes and somehow prepay them. No customs rates based on the product or channels for the prepayment were given. It was quite literally a "its not my problem" from the govt.
Fedex, DHL, UPS and other private couriers are the same people inbound and outbound so they can deal with the tariffs because they have the personnel and also are the same offices issuing invoices for deliveries all the way to last mile so they can charge a estimated deposit for customs because they will be dealing with it all the way through.
Public deliveries like JapanPost, USPS and the like exchange responsibilities and because neither USPS or JPost want to deal with this bullshit they just refuse to deliver packages to the USA.
Basically, eat shit and die because the govt is imposing a tariff that it doesnt have any official channels for the USPS to deal with neither in magnitude or the retarded "le countries will pay for the tariffs to send them" that are just offloaded to the customer.
