One Piece is more complicated, which doesn't mean it's "better written", if anything it's the opposite. Naruto is better in pretty much every way:

- Art that doesn't feel like you're getting punched in the eyes
- Character designs that are simple and yet memorable
- Fights that go beyond "I punch you harder!"
- Characters that act like normal humans do (this is the most important thing and probably the reason why you enjoy it more)

I'd read it all pre-TS, but post-TS I only enjoyed the Pain and Kage Summit arcs, everything else is a convoluted retcon of the story in some weird attempt to shoe-horn in a new plot.

Problem with too many stories, not just in manga, but in general-- is that at some point they decide to escalate from some innocent adventure to the most grandiose, epic, world-is-at-stake plot. OP is doing it too, but I'm enjoying it a bit more. While I wholly believe it's retconned it feels a little more natural and well-excused thus far rather than just a lot of deus ex machina

It's better like 10% of the time. The other 90% of One piece is retarded stretched filler, side characters (other strawhats) eating up screentime which goes nowhere, ever. Shitty fights with bad art. THAT piece, shiluette piece, run piece ect.

As they are, Naruto is objectively a MUCH better series. But if you cut out the fat from both and crystalized their core ideas, yea One Piece is better.

Among the Big 3 I'd say Bleach is actually the most enjoyable, not Naruto. But that's the manga, in terms of adaptation Naruto's anime is better.
