Could it have been done like Maigo 3? Yes, and I would have liked it regardless, and maybe it wouldn't be as divisive as it it now. However, they chose not to do so, and I loved the result of it. Furthermore, it also fits to the theme of the series, just like Maigo 3 fits to the theme of MyGo.
>Nobody should ever make episodes like this in anime medium.
That's a quite subjective statement too, lol. Personally, I wholeheartedly disagree with this. There is nothing wrong with experimentation, after all, it's anime. Obviously, it doesn't mean it'll go well, it's more of a hit or miss thing, but I always appretiate the intent behind it, and it also amounts to interesting experiences overall. With that said, I don't have anything against simplicity or anything like that, some of my favorite anime are simple as fuck. Not everything needs to be an experiment either, but for Mujica, and for that episode in particular, I think it does it wonders.
Anyway, this'll be my last reply, since I want to watch some seasonal stuff I left behind, and I doubt you're going to change your stance, and I won't change mine either. We'll go in circles.
Ultimately, most of this argument is extremely subjective, both your points and mine. You never told me an “objective" justification as of why episode 11 is an affront to storytelling, and that's okay, because this whole thing falls down to subjectivity. We both agree the technical side excellent, so there is nothing to discuss there.
My first replies were kind of aggresive because you seemed to be an arrogant prick, but in hindsight I think it was another anon.
