Vers couples in BL? Yeah, I enjoy it greatly. Though most of the time, I only see it in shorter manga with very little story accompanying it. So it's fun for smutty purposes, but rarely do you get more enjoyment out of it unless it's danmei like picrel.

I've only seen it once in a published BL (and given the length you just have to take their word for it), but I like to imagine it for pairings with certain character types. For example, if a character can be called a lazy slut, maybe he'll whine he wants sex but can't be bothered to top tonight, "you do it", etc. but he's a slut so there are times when he actively pursues sex and will insert if it makes it happen sooner. Otherwise, I go for different positions in different ships for the same characters.

It kinda depends on what the couple's like desu. I only really like it when it's an otherwise pretty equal couple and bottom x bottom tends to be miles better than top x top. Generally though it's more believable for me when it's at least somewhat unbalanced, since most of the time even couples who are open to switching still have a position they prefer or are more comfortable/confident in.

I can also suggest Hai to Diamond for another long-running switch manga, though that one had plenty of rape and incest, so your mileage may vary. Said manga also reminds me a lot of Banana Fish, with a slightly happier story.

I can think of only one manga (outside of doujins) that blatantly looks and is stated both are bottom x bottom while being a switch, which is Rule Number One. Omae ni Zettai Ienai Koto also fits the bill, but its aesthetic doesn't scream bottom x bottom.
