I'm interested in gathering some good anime assassin designs for reference, specifically the ones that actually look like they'd be suitable to an assassin type and not some over the top shounen rainbow stupidity or someone that's just wearing normal attire or something.

For that matter, does anyone have any decent art of Kousuke Endou from Arifureta? I tried looking but it doesn't look like there's any out there so the best I have is probably going to be screenshots from the anime.

But that is the most sensible assassin clothing. Regular baggy clothing that hides as much of you as possible without standing out.

Good assassins don't look like assassins. You're not supposed to know what they are, that's the whole point. Normal clothes would make much more sense.

You can't go wrong with long scarfs. It's a requirement for any decent looking assassin/ninja

always loved the long scarfs. also loved the shawl/scarf thing that was on the Exile armor in Elden Ring, messed with a bunch of mods to get that on other outfits in my game

In terms of fantasy assassins, True Assassin from Fate does it for me. It's like he's the grim reaper itself, the kind of being that makes you realize you're done for the instant you lock eyes with him.

Oh I suppose I should also include this guy. Very much an assassin type and keeps the garb simple and dark, with a simple mask, etc. More of a modern character but also one of my favorite assassin types.
