I cant quite remember, why do they have to go into warp in the game? If they could continuously go straight into multiple voting sessions it would prevent the night attacks. It could be justified if it was a way to reset the countdown for the force self destruct that LeVi cant override unless there was a warp within a set timeframe.

Raqio mentioning that cold sleep is potentially lethal makes it so much easier to understand why not everyone would be willing to all go to sleep at once and have levi fly to a med facility

As someone who played the whole game multiple times my biggest complain is that total bullshit red/green light in the cold sleep room.
It just introduces a massive plot hole for no fucking reason. In the game a warp is needed to detected gnosia activity on the ship, but with how things are in the series they can just keep freezing people without ever warping.
Also why did they not introduce the engineer in this loop?

Good episodes so far, but I hope we're not spending the first 7 or so episodes to get introductions out of the way. Hopefully they will speed things up a little.

I think this episode needed to happen to show us that the loop isn't consistent, but I feel like that's all that really happened and more should have been going on. Exploring the ship wasn't very interesting and the moon walk was immediately pointless because it proving either of them could be trusted makes no sense. The most fortunate part of the anime is that they can skip all of those shitty fishing for events rounds. It easily took me 4 or 5 hours to get the last few ones naturally, then I just looked them up and it still took 2-3 hours to get the last handful of them. Nothing sucks more than mashing buttons once the relevant character dies on the first night into a round.

The red/green lights are an anime-only addition for visibility. Also because the time frame hasn't been made clear in the anime you wouldn't know but they're given a limited amount of time for discussion, voting and recess before each warp. The gnosia are only capable of killing 1 person per warp phase, and because of the aforementioned restrictions, they have to go through every phase in sequence, or it's game over for everyone. They physically cannot consecutively freeze everyone without going through a warp phase. We're on episode 2 and still in the tutorial essentially. Your frodo questions will be answered soon enough.

A gnosia is detected on board the space ship. Galactic law indicates they're an extremely high threat and need to be destroyed. The ship's AI, Levi's resolution is to self-destruct the ship. This kills the gnosia and obviously everyone else. Because everyone obviously doesn't want to die when there's only 1 of them who is infected, they negotiate with Levi for an alternative. The alternative is the werewolf game aka discussing, voting, etc. of which the rules are determined by Levi. These rules indicate limited time for each phase as well as compulsive movement between each phase. Because each prior phase has to be completed before the next phase can begin, they have no choice but to proceed through each phase because if they don't the ship will self-destruct. Therefore they cannot do 2 voting phases in a row, they cannot freeze 2 people in a row and they cannot vote again without warping despite the fact that warping opens them up to gnosia attacks. So regardless of what color the lights are in the anime, they can't just immediately go back and vote again because those are the rules that they agreed to follow.

I watched the first episode last week and then tried to play the game. I got around 100 loops and at that point, I had unlocked almost all of the notes. I looked up a guide at around 130 after being unable to progress much. I did 40 more loops and I couldn't make this faggot dogeza. Needless to say, I eventually watched the rest of the game on YouTube. Fuck this game.

I ended up reading the game wiki and it turns out gnosia are detected by character roles like doctor who need a day to investigate, not an instant red/green light from AI detection. So yes, this is absolutely a plot hole and the anime absolutely does not make sense, and you are absolutely a smooth brained faggot wasting my time.

simple! During night/warp everyone, including the 2 humans, are concious and decide who to eat. During day/discussion only the two humans are concious and decide who to hang/freeze. I recon that would play rather well, actually. Cool idea anon!

The way I would see this working is that you have one neutral player who is an investigator or something like that, and it's their job to pick out the good players from the bad (say 4 evil players and 1 good ones). You do this by giving everyone information, but the good players have different information from the bad ones. The good players need to relay the correct information to the investigator without making it obvious that the info they're giving is different to what the evil players have (otherwise they'll get killed in the night).

I have a board game called PsychoBabble which is somewhat similar to this - basically you're all insane asylum patients. You all have a dream by rolling dice and the dice roll represents a card on the table based on a cypher you're given, and one person who is still insane has a different cypher. The players don't know if they're insane or not, they only know the dream they had. A psychiatrist quizzes the players to figure which image on the table their dream was and the insane one has to fit in as best he can so he isn't picked out at the end, it's quite fun.
