She is not saying fanart she is saying "OCs" And not even saying "don't do it", but "use a different tag" I guess she is thrown off people are using the covers as if they are canon characters. I wouldn't be surprised people approached her asking for certain characters thinking they were part of the manga.
What bothers me so much is how unhinged the western fandom is, thinking because an author is on xitter you can treat them as your equal. I agree authors shouldn't be on social media, but at the same time I like she is trying to put some order. Her work might not be the best, but she cares about it a lot.
