Because Gacha games have taken over the ecchi market. Ecchi anime are simply too restricted by rules and regulations, not to mention the lack of avenues of monetization, to get the funds to be high quality.

Any Korean or Chinese gacha with bikinis in swimsuit event then? No Korean or Chinese gacha have bikini. Blue archive and Nikke lacks proper bikinis like pic rel in swimsuit event. Spite Gakumas is censored garbage spite being Japanese gacha as well for having swimsuits covered up like Chinese gacha.

But Korea and China bans bikinis from media tho. No Korean and Chinese game have bikini. No Korean webtoon and Chinese donghua have bikinis.
