Well, for one thing we know that Uroro's been trying to take over Ichi from early on and frequently mentioned his intent to take action as recently as the end of the previous arc so this was set up for a while. Otr's felt like they had to get that in out of obligation or attention
Second, to be honest, if Ichi was flopping as hard as Otr is right now, I would also call this and saying that there's 7 strong guys before World-Hater pretty desperate to stay relevant but it's not. So we can clearly tell a difference between the two manga's statuses
ichi (what will be his nickname like irumean? urochi?) will definitely kicked octo's shit in until he's smoldering mess and acquired it
the real fight begin after when everyone (I think chrono will join in too) need to contain ichi
I get the feeling Ichi passing out after using Uroro has nothing to do with stamina but because Uroro does not submit to Ichi yet. So using Uroro fucks his magic circle up or something. We should see what Ichi is truly capable of in this possessed form.

Taking a wild stab that Uroro will try killing Kizashi in such a way that it doesn't count as Ichi passing his trial and Kizashi just dies without being obtained. It feels too early for Ichi to have Kizashi's kind of power and he's too evil to join Ichi's magic harem.

Probably a pain to draw constantly, and the same issue likely presists for Ichi's outfit transformation with the feather boots and elaborate coat. They can't show either often because it's too detailed.

This isn't a berserk form in the first place, it's demonic possession (Sukuna, Yusuke, etc.), it's not actually the person going berserk.
This is arguably the lamer version if used in the same way as a berserk mode, but thankfully that's mostly not the case.
