By the way, didn't Matsui (Elusam/AssClass author) also say similar thing when he was being a judge 5 years ago? That there are too many newbies who imitate Fujimoto. It looks like the classic case of the characters gaining writer's perspective - a novice error, very shameful one; it gets sorted out by an author himself or editors later.
It happens when an author forgets to detach himself from the characters he is writing. He thinks that if he and readers know that Samura became a good guy, automatically all other characters know it even if they should not.
Hokazono continues to disappoint me. How did he even manage to make first arc serviceable?
