Episode 3 was surprisingly dark for this show. Also, very well made.

Too bad the author dropped the ball and still has him be cold to his fake daughter and she hardly gets any genuine moments from him. There's the feel of pride after she saved that drowning boy and was rewarded, him telling her to treasure her friends which came from his heart, and his heartstrings being tugged at seeing her interact with a grand-parental figure. And I think that's it for Anya. Meanwhile he's whipped for Yor since she gets all the development and it's her that is killing the spy.
