Before they disbanded they were already having conflicts over the direction of the band, Nyamu argues that Sakiko's vision is too uncompromising and that's no indication that Sakiko was somehow uninvolved. Later on, for sure, but not at this point.
Maybe you could say that by point she was already taking distance since she wanted Mutsumi back more intensely than she wanted the band to keep going, but I don't see how this isn't indicative of her being impractical and solipsistic. Her feelings dictate every action beyond reason.

What are the chances of Season 3 being 2 cours? I’ve noticed the new meta of splitting 2 cour shows into separate parts with a season gap in between like Dandadan, Apothecary Diaries, and Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray. I need Season 3 to have the slow burn of MyGO and the messy, Rose of Versailles inspired petty drama of Ave Mujica. Combine both and you basically get 63 episodes of Fruits Basket.
