I always thought Roxy was the least interesting of the 3 wives personality wise so it's interesting to see much of the thread thinking otherwise.
I thought the circumstances surrounding each wife was more interesting than their characters.
I loved Eris the most and thought she was the most dynamic one. She really grows a lot as a character but unfortunately that kind of stops once she returns to Rudeus.

A mixture of her insecurities, her desire to compensate for the things (she believes) she's bad at by studying and applying herself, her habits and personal quirks as well as her background as a Migurd and the specific experiences she's made as a demon is what I like about her. It'd take way too long to explain my feelings and the reasons for those in detail, but to me she's the one with the least boring/simplistic personality of the three. Eris stopped growing as a person for the most part by the time she came back and Sylphy is too riddled with insecurities, funnily enough, for my taste. Aisha and child Eris are also great (I sear I'm not a lolicon, this is just a coincidence), but Roxy's very specific combination of personaility traits, backgorund and her role in the story elevate her above everyone else imo.

If you can believe me, I only came to really like Roxy's design by liking her character. I adored Roxy in s1 and felt really sad that she left. Spent most of the time she was away hoping for her to be back with Rudeus and all that teasing in the demon continent had me pulling at my hairs. How she came back into his life and took advantage of him still doesn't sit very well with me. Not only it is kind of low, but she didn't feel like a heroine, it felt like she was a stray cat Rudeus brought along with him. Every moment of affection Sylphy had with Rudeus is what I wanted to see Roxy doing, so her becoming the second wife, partly through manipulating, felt very sad to see. I dunno, man, I just wanted something more... idealistic? Vanilla? Just like it happened with Sylphy.

My favorite part about Roxy is how she went off and did her own thing. She and Rudy were friends and exchanged letters, but she was still off living her own life. Independence is an attractive trait in a character for me; she kinda reminds of of Rin in FSN.

Yeah, after getting married she lost a lot of the independence that made me love her character to begin with but she still ends up being the only wife that has any semblance of an independent life while being married to Rudy; Sylphy takes care of the household/kids and Eris just fights, fucks and trains most of the time. Roxy at least gets to realize her goals by becoming a teacher, and later headmaster, at the school.
